Some days you just want something comfortable to wear but you don't want to dress down your outfit, and these sandals are comfort meets beauty for sure (no kidding, even my boyfriend thinks they are really cute). These I wear with sun dresses and other fun summer clothing that won't appreciate normal sporty flip-flop companions. This is actually my second pair because the first pair got stolen (try not to leave them on your front porch, the shineys are really attractive to thieves). The only reason I knocked off a star was the left and right connecting thongs used to pinch my feet on the old pair, this newer pair with the green "Sanuk" text actually feels like they fixed that problem (although, I'm not entirely sure yet -- also I did order my regular shoe size and they are much bigger now so maybe that's why they don't pinch, this also made me realize you can order a size or two smaller than your shoe size and still be comfortable). A couple of important things however: 1: They run a little big-I usually wear a size 7 1/2-8 shoe, so I ordered the size 8, and I think a 7 might have fit better. 2: These shoes are slick on the bottom when you first wear them-my niece told me to rub them on the driveway or other rough surface to "break them in" and so I did, and then they were fine. Other than that, I really like to wear them out, they look dressy and are really comfortable. |
