I have been wearing these type of Clarks' flip-flops for the past 3 years now (many pairs!!) and never had any problem. The sole adjust to your arch after about a week. They are amazingly comfortable. I just love them! I'm only 115 pounds, so it's not like I'm heavy. I'm not pleased with these at all. Amazon accepted the return and sent out the new pair immediately. These Clarks flip flops are not only adorable but the most comfortable "flips" I have ever worn. It feels like you are wearing very cushy slippers. The decorative flowers are stitched on real well which is great since I am pretty hard on my shoes.
