Yeah, right! LOL! Dream on, Missy! Ok, now that's out of the way, lets give credit where credit is due by saying that these are extremely comfortable and supportive and not bad looking either. There are multiple models of Fit Flops. The Walkstar 111 model, which is relatively recent, employs a single piece of well padded leather that extends from the thong between the toes, up over the top of the foot, and is attached to both sides of the footbed. It definitely runs large. I often wear a size 8, but there is at least one inch sole extending past the end of my toes in this size 8! The thong does tend to irritate the toes just a smidge. I question whether there will be any noticeable benefit in firming and toning the lower body from wearing this particular shoe; however, it is cute and has a nice cushioned sole. The picture shown for the oyster color leads one to believe that it is a light tan or beige. It is not. It is definitely "white." 16 of 16 people found the following review helpful  Strength for my ankles, By This review is from: FitFlop Women's Walkstar 3 Sandal (Apparel) I broke my ankle twice last year and part of my physical therapy was done on a wobble mat. The midsole on these shoes are a type of wobble mat that make your ankles work to keep your balance. I can really tell a difference between my weaker ankle that has been broken and my strong ankle. You do have to work up to wearing these for an extended amount of time as your legs will tire. I recommend them to anyone who wants to work on their legs while they go about their day. |
